How to Make Cannabis-Infused Jam Homemade Recipe

A fresh, easy recipe for homemade cannabis jam using strawberries and cannabis-infused butter or oil. Perfect for breakfast or baking.

Making homemade cannabis jam doesn’t have to be complicated. This recipe uses fresh strawberries and a bit of cannabis-infused butter or coconut oil to give it a unique kick. Follow these simple steps, and you’ll have a delicious cannabis-infused jam ready in about an hour and a half.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds (900g) fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
  • 4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons cannabis-infused butter or coconut oil (adjust strength as you like)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 package (1.75 oz / 49g) powdered fruit pectin

Instructions

1. Prepare your jars

Wash your jars and lids in hot, soapy water. Rinse well, then keep them in a pot of simmering water to sterilize while you prepare the jam.

2. Crush the strawberries

Use a potato masher or food processor to crush the strawberries to the texture you want.

3. Cook the mixture

In a large pot, combine strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, cannabis butter or oil, and water. Stir and bring to a rolling boil over medium-high heat, stirring frequently.

4. Add the pectin

Sprinkle the powdered pectin over the boiling mixture while stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute to activate the pectin.

5. Test the jam

Put a spoonful on a cold plate and freeze it for a minute. Press it gently—if it wrinkles, it’s ready. If not, boil another minute and test again.

6. Fill the jars

Take jars out of the hot water with tongs. Ladle the hot jam into each jar, leaving about 1/4 inch at the top. Clean rims, put lids on, and tighten bands finger-tight.

7. Process the jars

Put the filled jars back into the pot of boiling water, making sure the jars are covered by at least an inch of water. Boil gently for 10 minutes to seal.

8. Cool and store

Remove jars and place on a towel-lined surface. Let cool for 12–24 hours without moving them. You should hear a “ping” when they seal. Store unopened jars in a cool, dark place for up to a year. Refrigerate after opening and use within a few weeks.

Enjoy your homemade strawberry canna-jam on toast, in desserts, or however you like it!
